My research interests revolve around public school district leadership and governance, and more specifically, organizational systems and structures that support transformational school leadership. In my academic work, I explore how the intersectional identities of individual agents interact with larger institutional structures in educational organizations, bringing together scholarly traditions in critical race theory, organizational behavior, and leadership studies.
